I did not choose this work. I noticed what was at stake and could not look away.
Somewhere along the way I stopped believing that children simply "turn out." They are aimed. And most are aimed carelessly — not by cruel people, but by tired, untrained, well-meaning ones.
I have sat with parents who love their children fiercely and are still, without knowing it, blunting them. I have watched gifted teachers manage behaviour while missing the child entirely. I have seen churches gather hundreds of young ones and minister to almost none of them with any real depth.
None of this is for lack of love. It is for lack of training. And training is something I can give.
So that is what I do. I work with the adults — the parents, the teachers, the children's ministers, the school owners — because the child is downstream of the adult. Sharpen the hand, and you have done more for the arrow than a hundred programmes ever will.
Faith sits underneath all of it, plainly and without apology. I believe children are given, not produced — and that how we form them is a responsibility we will answer for. That belief steadies the work. It does not narrow it.

Faith
Children are given, not manufactured. Their formation is a stewardship, not a project — and that changes how seriously we take it.
Depth
I am not interested in tips. I am interested in the why beneath the what — the understanding that holds when the techniques run out.
Growth
No adult is a finished instrument. The hand that shapes the child must keep being sharpened too. I include myself in that.
Usefulness
If you cannot use it on Monday morning, it was never wisdom — only noise. Everything I teach is meant to be done.
